Memorial Day Flag Ceremony

Next Monday, May 27th, is the Memorial Day flag ceremony at Desert Memorial Park on the corner of Da Vall and Ramon Rd. in Cathedral City. Come out and honor our Military. Class B to work Class A for ceremony. This is Community Service Scouts. Be there at 6:00 am and ready to work. The flags are heavy so you need to work as a team.

City Flags

Knight and Steath Patrol, tomorrow city flags is open to all patrols so I encourage all scouts to come, it counts as community service hours. All tenderfoot rank scouts should come to get requirements 4 and 5 signed off, all scout rank scouts could get it signed off too.

Help a Fellow Scout!!!

Okay Scouts, time to show your support for a fellow Scout. Jack C. from our Troop 262 is working on his Eagle Project. His project is to Scrape, Power Wash, and Repaint the kindergarten building at St. Theresa’s. The dates are for the next three Saturdays from 8:00am til 12:00pm. Wear clothes that won’t mind a little paint, comfy shoes, and a hat. Remember that a Scout is HELPFUL!! If you have any questions, see Jack on Wednesday.

OA ELections -Wednesday

This Wednesday will be the Order of the Arrow Elections. To qualify for Order of the Arrow you must:
1) Be First Class or above
2) Active in Troop
3) Have 15 days and nights camping including one long term camp (ex summer camp)
4) Approved by Scoutmaster
